Nice pub in the former Post Office on the corner of Church Street in Orrell. There are sheltered timber booths at the rear in addition to the internal seating. There is a good selection of beers, together with some bespoke cocktails in addition to the more normal ones. Food is also available if you feel peckish as well as Nobby's Nuts! Staff are very nice and welcoming.

We love a trip to The Copper Tap. It has a great selection of beers, top quality food and the occasional live music makes it a great place for a night out as well as grabbing a bite for lunch. We have always received great service from their friendly staff. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Had a few visits to the copper tap now, always has great service and friendly staff service. Aimee and Catherine went above and beyond, along with all the other staff to ensure we had a brilliant night whilst celebrating my Mums 50th. Lovely little place to chill and have some tasty food. Relaxed atmosphere and a great coffee. Really friendly staff and very helpful and down to earth. Also noticed a great selection of beers on tap!! Must return when not driving.
